EPD Profile

Miss Extra Freedom 15R is a Registered black Gelbvieh cow grand-sired by both Flying H Extra 150D and Freedom 178F ET. She was purchased in 2011 by Kittle Gelbvieh Farms from one of Johnny Kittle’s best friends in the Gelbvieh cattle business, Cricket Mason of Do Little Farms in Quebeck, Tennessee. Miss Extra Freedom is an exceptional “calf raiser” who has weaned seven (7) calves in excess of 686 pounds.

After weaning her eighth calf in 2014, Miss Extra Freedom 15R was recognized by the American Gelbvieh Association as a Dam of Distinction. The elite designation of Dam of Distinction is based upon a selection criteria of early conception, regular calving intervals, and above-average weaning weights for those cows who have produced eight (8) calves or more. Of the 40,132 active cows in the Gelbvieh breed, just 1% from that group are honored as a Dam of Distinction.
