EPD Profile

Post Rock Enjerica 201P2 was purchased by Kittle Farms in 2010 at the White Brothers Dispersal Sale in Topeka, Kansas. Enjerica was born at Post Rock Cattle Company in Barnard, Kansas just two (2) days after Post Rock Granite 200P2, the #1 A.I. Sire in the Gelbvieh breed. Like 200P2, Enjerica is sired by Granite 2135M.

Across the board, Enjerica’s EPD numbers are exceptional. She currently sits in the Top 25% of the breed for Calving Ease Direct, Birth Weight, Weaning Weight, Yearling Weight, Total Maternal, Stability, and Carcass Weight. Enjerica’s Feeder Profit Index score is at 69.93 and ranks in the Top 10% of all Gelbvieh cattle.

Enjerica’s calf-raising ability matches her strong EPD numbers. She maintains an incredible Weaning Weight Ratio of 107. In 2014, Enjerica weaned Heavy Duty 201A, who was sold as a herd bull for a progressive commercial cattle operation in Section, Alabama. Heavy Duty weaned at 788 pounds from a 78 pound birth weight with an astounding Weaning Weight ratio of 110 and a weight per day of age of 3.88 pounds.

Enjerica’s Fall 2014 bull calf John Henry 201B was another stand-out. John Henry had a weaning weight of 744 pounds and a yearling weight of 1,258 pounds. He began working as a herd sire in a progressive commercial cattle operation in Northeast Alabama beginning in early 2016.
