Hart Star 35Y43 was purchased in 2012 from Bob Hart with Hart Farms in Kansas City, Kansas to anchor our Red Gelbvieh program.  Hart Star excels in both performance and eye appeal, with his full brother, Hart 35W34, serving as the 2010 American Royal Grand Champion and the 2011 Reserve Grand Champion Gelbvieh Bull.

Hart Star boasted a tremendous performance spread of a 716 pound adjusted weaning weight from a 67 pound birth weight.  Like their sire, Hart Star’s calves have come easy and have hit the ground growing, with the bull earning a Calving Ease EPD score in the Top 15% of the breed and with exactly half of the calves from his initial calf-crop achieving exceptional 700+ pound weaning weights.  Hart Star is homozygous polled, diluter free and holds a verified A.I. permit with semen inventory available at Bull Barn Genetics (www.bullbarn.com).
